This magical beach is therefore accessible only by land, which helps preserve its pristine conditions. With fine white sand and spectacular views of Rabbit Island, this beach is a true Italian paradise. The waters are calm and clear, thanks to the sheltered surroundings. Home to small colonies of rabbits and a famous population of loggerhead sea turtles that nest here annually, Rabbit Beach is a natural haven. With incredible weather, it's great to visit year-round.

Look for days where the wind will be blowing from behind the beach towards the water, as well as days with little to no wind.

HIGH SEASON
High season peaks in July and August, and Rabbit Beach is much busier during those months than it is at other times of the year. June and September are a great compromise with less crowds and excellent weather.

CALM SEAS
The Mediterranean is much calmer from June through October, which is the best time of year to visit Rabbit Beach.

TIME OF DAY
Due to the popularity of European beaches in summer, we recommend visiting Rabbit Beach fairly early in the morning to enjoy it without it being very crowded.
